Poom Loom is a non-profit project of the We Are One Foundation. We us a unique, participatpry grassroots development model that integrates community services with curriculum in the Laotian context to improve education and income potential in rural communities in Laos. 

Laotian university students work with community members on projects that help improve local education and income potential while preserving traditional Laotian lifestyles. 

Our next step is to connect Laotian university students with university students from Wisconsin in a unique, alternative college with mobile classrooms that facilitate sustainable development initiatives in Laos. The nonformal college project has held several rounds of training courses at a new site since 2017.
